Holland and Barrett Spain, a prominent player in the e-commerce B2C sector, faced a critical challenge after the November 2024 Core Update. The update led to a substantial drop in their organic traffic, threatening their competitive edge and online sales. The primary issues identified were outdated content and a less than optimal site structure, which hindered their visibility in search engines.

At the outset, Holland and Barrett Spain's online performance metrics revealed significant areas for improvement. They had only 594 keywords ranking in the top 10 positions, and their monthly organic traffic was a modest 5.2k sessions. Additionally, the site's domain rating was 42, limiting their authority and reach in the competitive e-commerce landscape.

What we did
Results
The results were outstanding. The number of keywords in the top 10 soared from 594 to 3,020, marking a 408% increase. Organic traffic surged from 5.2k to 38.9k sessions per month, a 646% growth. The domain rating improved from 42 to 53, achieving a 26% increase.
