4× organic traffic from 140 integration pages buyers were already searching for

Long-tail 'sync X with Y' queries had zero coverage anywhere. We built the pages that answered them — with real setup steps, not filler.

Where they started

A sync tool that connects apps most people have never heard of together. Buyers didn’t search the brand. They searched their problem: “sync Salesforce with Postgres”, “push Airtable to BigQuery”. Every one of those queries returned a competitor’s forum thread or nothing at all. The product supported 140 connector pairs and had a landing page for exactly one of them. The rest of the demand was invisible to Google because no page existed to catch it.

What we did

  • Templated 140 integration pages, then cut 30. Each page carried real per-pair content: setup steps, the exact field mappings, sync frequency and row limits. The 30 pairs with nothing specific to say got deleted, not padded. That gate is why 110 pages read as documentation, not as a doorway farm.
  • Wrote the pages for the query, not the template. The buyer for “sync X with Y” wants to know if their columns will map and how often it refreshes. Leading with that answer got the pages ranking without waiting on links.
  • Built 40 links to the hub and the highest-value pairs. Developer newsletters and integration directories linked the pages that were already earning them, which pulled DR from 34 to 41 and lifted the whole cluster.

The pages indexed in waves, not overnight. Traffic barely moved for two months, then compounded as each batch got crawled and started ranking. Nine months in, the integration pages send more signups than everything except the pricing page. The 30 we deleted are the reason the other 110 aged well.

The results

  • Organic traffic up 4× in 9 months, from 7k to 28k monthly sessions

  • 110 integration pages live; 8,800 ranking keywords, up from 1,900

  • Integration pages became the top signup source after the pricing page

“The win wasn't the template — it was killing 30 pages that had nothing real to say. That's the difference between an asset and a doorway penalty.”
